We at Team Two Mills are famous for producing elite competition horses. Our horses are carefully selected for their breeding, attitude, temperament and quality. We import directly from stud yards in Germany and Holland and we are proud of our reputation for finding some truly talented horses. Two Mills Sport Horses was originally founded by a truly talented horseman named Mike Jones over 30 years ago, Mike produced and trained incredible horses and riders such as Two Mills Showtime and Two Mills Playboy.
Jemma Coburn started working and training with Mike where they formed a formidable partnership and friendship over a 10 year period producing and training many talented horses.
Sadly Mike lost his battle to Leukemia in 2010, since then we carried on his name and work in honour of his memory and continue to produce elite competition horses.

Founder & talented horseman, who'll be sadly missed.
Mike was a male catwalk model but was so passionate about horses that he gave it up in order to form Team Two Mills. He managed to secure backing by DMS, the Fog family, and took on his yard at Thorntonhough. Mike had an infectious personality, everyone wanted to be his friend, and work with him. Because of this it didn’t take long before his business took off. As a trainer he was second to none, he always made sure that he got the best out of the horse or riding student.
He realized a dream in 2009 by becoming national Champion with Two Mills Playboy. The next stage for Playboy was to go to Grand Prix level, but tragically Mike lost his battle with leukemia. We know he would be pleased that Playboy did go on to ride at a grand prix level with Anna Davie and is still competing to this day.
We strive to keep Team Two Mills performing to the same level that Mike always managed through hard work to attain. We know he would be proud of the success we have achieved since his passing. We think about him every day.
Mike Jones' protégé and successor of Team Two Mills
Jemma has spent her whole working life with horses, she met Mike when she was 17 and hit it off with him straight away. She started working for Team Two Mills as a groom and rider; it was clear from very early on that she was extremely talented at riding, and this combined with training from Mike allowed Jemma to flourish.
She became a partner in the business and to improve her discipline Mike taught her to ride on the flat and how to produce a top quality dressage horse. After much effort she qualified for the young horse national dressage championship with one of their horses. She has also taken other horses all the way from a British novice level up to grand prix! Take a look at the home page for some wonderful pictures of Jemma and all the different horses competing.
Jemma works diligently at anything she does, she is extremely competitive. This helps her and those around her to deliver top quality horses time and time again.
